The Great Victory won on 30 August 1922 is a historic turning point in which our nation's resolve for independence and freedom, unity and solidarity, was proclaimed to the whole world.
We commemorate, with mercy, gratitude and respect, all the heroes of our struggle for independence, our cherished martyrs and veterans, foremost among them Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
On this meaningful day, we celebrate with great pride and enthusiasm the 104th anniversary of the 30 August Victory, which paved the way for the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye.
