Protection and processing of personal data
MÜSİAD UK processes, stores and protects its members’ personal data in accordance with the provisions of the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
- The telephone number and national identification number shared by members are only shared internally within MÜSİAD UK, for membership management purposes.
- Other personal and corporate information may be shared with third parties for the purposes of business network development, promotion and cooperation.
Members have the right to request the correction or deletion of their personal data by contacting MÜSİAD UK. Data is stored only for as long as necessary for the membership process and for our legal obligations.
This website
This website does not use advertising or profiling cookies, and it does not require an account. Membership applications and the member portal are handled on our separate members system, which is where any account data you provide is held.
If you subscribe to our newsletter we keep your email address until you unsubscribe, and use it only to send news and event invitations. Every message includes an unsubscribe link.
Our web server keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and diagnostics, and these are retained for a limited period.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask for data to be deleted, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@musiad.uk.
